Cathy was among the pioneers in establishing a professional pet sitting business in Central Texas. She has set the standard in the industry by mentoring fellow pet sitters, serving as an official Ambassador for Pet Sitters International, speaking at various pet-related and business conferences, and even authoring a book titled How to Start a Home-Based Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business.
With a BS in Biology from Texas State University, Cathy has also worked at the San Antonio Zoo and as a veterinary office assistant. Her extensive knowledge, experience, and education ensure that Cathy’s Critter Care provides your pets with the best possible care, going beyond just a love for animals.
With Cathy’s Critter Care, you’ll benefit from a dedicated team of highly trained pet sitters who provide compassionate and knowledgeable care for your pets. You’ll have a primary pet sitter assigned to you based on the best fit for your pets and your needs. Our collaborative team can handle last-minute requests and emergencies, operating year-round to meet your needs. All employees are background checked, bonded, and insured. Cathy Vaughan closely supervises all care for clients and their homes.
